The 2007 legislative session is over, five days early. As usual, it was a whirlwind toward the end. Listed below are the bills and resolutions I carried this session. I am especially excited about SB 64, creating a review of the entire foster care system in our state. In light of recent tragic events, we must do better in protecting families and children during times of crisis.

Rep. Green and I will not be holding a final town meeting in Golden as we usually do. Rep. Green is out of state nursing her daughter back to health after surgery. She should be back in town in early June.
The 19th of May is special for me this year, as my husband and I are celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Steve surprised me with a four day mini vacation, so we will be gone this upcoming weekend.
